In early January, Accord turned three years old – and got a BIG present to help celebrate. 🎂
I was sitting down recently, trying to jot down all of my thoughts on what this milestone means to Accord, and me personally…
My mind instantly flooded with the special individuals & memorable moments fueling our progress over the recent years: all of those early customer calls, first wins, supportive partners, and enthusiastic advocates – they are the real force behind our success so far.
And they’re the reason we have this incredible opportunity to take our mission to the next level!
Most recently, that came in the form of Diana Berlin of Matrix (joining Accord’s board) who instantly understood our vision for how Accord can transform B2B sales for the better. And on a personal level, she clearly hit on the three most important attributes we were looking for in a partner: passion for product, thoughtfulness, and deep integrity.
In the past three years, we’ve formed an incredible team of product-minded builders (aka Accordions), shipped an impactful platform with 100+ top revenue teams to hit their ARR goals, and learned a million professional and life lessons.
I’m so proud of how far we’ve come in the past three years – and of raising this round in such a challenging moment for tech/startups. We don’t take it for granted and are grateful for our customers, partners, and supporters for helping us get here today.
🤔 What comes next?
We still have a long way to go on our mission of helping teams drive predictable revenue with repeatable, consistent deal execution, and this mission is more important today than ever.
We’ve all experienced the challenges of the past year: layoffs, uncertainty, tightened budgets, every purchase decision being scrutinized. We’re no longer in an era of abundance. Now, sales teams are facing the challenge of trying to hit big revenue targets in a tough selling environment with fewer resources.
Our goal is to help sales teams make the most of every opportunity, level up their performance, increase efficiency, and drive repeatable revenue in 2023 & beyond.
Here’s what we plan to do next:
