TL;DR: We’ve rolled out write access for the Accord MCP server, completely overhauled user roles and permissions, and given you full governance over how your team interacts with AI agents.
The Accord MCP Server now supports write access and easily integrates with your favorite AI applications. By exposing nearly every field in the Accord web app, your team can interface with Accord using natural language and build agents to automate daily workflows.
For a closer look at the Accord MCP Server in action, we’ve put together a short video highlighting how it works.
Beyond efficiency, MCP turns Accord into a unifying layer for your GTM agents. By writing AI outputs directly back into Accord, you align those insights with your sales motion and easily deliver them back to your buyers.
Have an agent tracking customer insights across Email and Slack? Set it to automatically update your Mutual Action Plans.
Have an agent pulling CMS stats? Use it to push high-value assets directly into your playbooks.
The possibilities are endless!
Learn more about the Accord MCP
To give you more control over how your team interacts with Accord, we’ve fully overhauled the way roles and permissions work, so you can give your team exactly the access they need and nothing more.
Instead of broad "Admin" or "User" labels that force you to hand over full access for simple tasks, nearly every action in Accord is now tied to a granular permission setting. We’ve introduced four preset roles designed around real team workflows:
Enterprise customers can create new roles or edit any of the presets.
Additionally, Workspace Admins can now also configure custom agent permissions to grant or restrict specific actions over MCP. This built-in governance ensures AI agents never overwrite critical data, making it easy to deploy them safely across your entire organization.
Lean more about Roles and Permissions
On October 6th Accord Co-founder Ryan Rich is building live with the Accord MCP server, showcasing agents that read and write inside a real Accord workspace.
Expect a few builds you'll want to steal for your own team!
That's a wrap for September. With expanded MCP access and smarter permissions, we can't wait to see what you build.
See you next month.
